This picture shows a King of Mercia frame with the stainless steel S & S couplings just before it gets put together as a complete bike ( the customer has supplied most of the equipment ) . It has a slight overspray of blue with the blue head tube to match and please note the gold outline of the transfers.

I've seen these couplings before. How do they affect the performance of the frame?
I must say while your riding the bike you will feel no difference in its performance.
